MONITORING/ DATA MANAGEMENT OFFICER

The DANISH REFUGEE COUNCIL (DRC) Mission in Serbia has opened the recruitment process for the national posts of "Monitoring/Data Management Officer" within the framework of the EURTF Madad funded project "EU support to Serbia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in managing migration/refugee crisis/Balkan route." 

Position Title: Monitoring/Data Management Officer (full time position)

Duration: 5 months.

Duty Station: Belgrade.

Tasks:

  • Setting up relevant monitoring databases and web portal and undertaking regular updates;

  • Compiling and processing relevant reports from the monitoring activities;

  • Sorting and storing of statistical reports;

  • Ensuring data protection and taking necessary measure to ensure privacy of beneficiaries;

  • Preparing presentation of all relevant data for the purpose of further reporting;

  • Compiling and tracking all distribution reports from the field staff, with the purpose of monitoring and reporting to the Programme Manager;

  • Daily monitoring of potential entries through mobile application and ensuring early warning mechanism;

    Other tasks include:

  • Assisting in design and preparation of relevant administrative documents;

  • Assisting in design and preparation of visibility material;

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

 Qualification and skills:

  • Bachelor degree in the field of Information Management or similar subject;

  • Experience in the design, training and use of mobile technology for data collection and transmission, including online and mobile applications;

  • Excellent spoken and written English;

  • Full respect for beneficiaries/organization confidentiality;

  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, precision and accuracy;

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and respect for people with special needs and other vulnerability;

  • Culture, gender, age sensitivity;

Professional experience:

  • Relevant professional experience of not less than 2 (two) years, with emphasis on good knowledge of information technology/data management;

  • Prior experience in working for an NGO is an advantage;

  • Prior experience in working in an ERP system is an advantage.
